What is God?
God is a Spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.

- John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- Job 11:7, 8, 9 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

The other online text I found (reformedreader.org) is the Spurgeon-era version, a different wording, so it could not be used to check this one. Not yet proofread against a scanned original. Scripture proof texts are the King James Version, from the public-domain Project Gutenberg edition, added with tools/add_kjv.py. A few references could not be matched to verses (whole-chapter references such as ‘Genesis 1 throughout’, and typing slips in the source) and are shown without text.
