Public domain. Text transcribed from the unrevised (pre-1788) Westminster Confession as published by apuritansmind.com, which reformed.org's historic-documents index links to. Compared with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church's text (the American revision): the two agree except where the 1788 revision changed the chapters on the civil magistrate, marriage, church synods and the head of the church, and in scattered single-word variants (for example V.5, VII.3, XIII.2 and XVI.3). It has not yet been proofread against a standard printed edition. Scripture proof texts are the King James Version, from the public-domain Project Gutenberg edition, added with tools/add_kjv.py. A few references could not be matched to verses (whole-chapter references such as ‘Genesis 1 throughout’, and typing slips in the source) and are shown without text.
