What do the scriptures principally teach?
The scriptures principally teach what man is to believe concerning God, and what duty God requires of man.

- 2 Tim. 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
- 2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
