Erskine Theological Seminary

Theological posture

Confessional Reformed

Trustees and faculty are documented as subscribing to a Reformed confession (the Westminster Standards, the Three Forms of Unity or similar).

Doctrinal basis. Conservative Presbyterian; teaches the inerrancy of Scripture in the original autographs as the ARP's official position (Wikipedia).

Points to weigh

• 2011: five faculty members publicly opposed tolerance of neo-orthodoxy at the seminary; the relationship between the ARP and Erskine has been contested since (Wikipedia; Aquila Report).
